“Themed tours” are the best! One of our favorites was the “literary tour across Massachusetts” one we took, uh, well, I can’t remember for sure — maybe 10-15 years ago? Emerson, Hawthorne, Melville, Dickinson, Edith Wharton, all those folks. (Many of whom I, at least, had and still have never read at all. 😉) It’s such a great way to help pace yourself, to have a series of known intermediate destinations!

What can I say? We were young! ANYWAY, enjoy the tour. I like doing things like that. I try to take a where-I-lived-with-my-mom tour when I go to Winter Haven, but no one wants to go with me and I can’t get out of my dad’s house by myself.

ANYWAY. Again. Enjoy the tour. Enjoy all of it.
